Yep I saw today on Sportscentre that Chad Morton was cut.

Do you guys think he's any better/worse of a KR than McQuarters??

I think its pretty much understood that RW is way more valuable on non-special teams plays...

I think its pretty much understood that RW is way more valuable on non-special teams plays...

Chad Morton is an RB on offense...we don't really need another RB...

McQ is a DB...we can stand to use some depth there...in addition to the return ability.

Isn't Kelly Campbell fast? Wouldn't he make a good returner for both punts and kicks? Maybe he just lacks the vision to be a good returner. I think the main problem is we juggled our returners just as much as we swapped RBs. Find one guy who doesnt play much otherwise and give him the job for the season is my opinion.

Hopefully CJ will take his spot. Campbell is actually pretty good, but i'm sick of his off the field problems. I wouldn't mind bringing in Chad Morton just to return kicks/punts, and don't let him play RB. But I would rather get R-mac and have him play nickle and return punts/kicks.

I don't agree with that.
Let's see, distraction to team is a bit overboard. Kelly taunts too much. He doesn't distract the team. He just taunts a bit too much.

If you are sick of his off-the-problems, I don't agree with that wither. He messed up once during his pro-football career. That is too short of a leash in my opinion.

Kelly Campbell didnt mess up enough to be booted off the team because of it. I think cutting him would be senseless and unneccesary by those terms.

Now if we can find a fifth receiver who can return both punts and kicks better than Campbell, fine cut him. By I think those should be the ONLY terms used to make the decision.
