Joey Harrington
I'm not sure about you guys, but I kind of feel bad for him. The guy has seriously been through hell with the Lions, some of it is his fault I think, but some of it is also the organization's. I just really think he's a genuinely good guy and I wish he'd succeed (but not for the Lions obviously). Does anyone else share my sentiments?

I could say one good thing about him...........
he's better than Ryan Leaf.

Re: Joey Harrington
Harrington has been saddled with playing in an unsuccessful system on an unsuccessful team.
Marriuchi has been widely criticized in the Detroit Press - and by other Sports Critics - for rigidly adhering to an antiquated system (Short passing West Coast style) in spite of the fact taht it is not only out dated and ineffective, but he doesn't have the right kinds of players for it.
Sort of reminds me of Cottrell.
I believe taht Harrington will wind up being a lot like Testaverde. He'll be labeled because he played for a crappy team, then someone will take a chance on him and it will pay off big for them. In the end, Harrington will have the last laugh on the Lions...much like Carr will on the Texans...or Bennett will on the...oh...wait...who am I kidding...Bennett isn't that good.

Re: Joey Harrington
Denny will pick him up in AZ and he will eventually out play everyone there and lead them to the SuperBowl and really make Millen look like the A$$ he really is and finally get him banned from the league from the obvious lack of smarts.

Re: Joey Harrington
I really do think that someone is going to pick him up and be successful with him. I just hope the Lions don't act like pricks and refuse to release or trade him and just have him sit there and rot on the bench til his contract is up (anyone know when that is?). If he weren't a good guy, I wouldn't give a crap, but to me he just always seemed like he deserved to succeed.
