Janet Frankston, of the Associated Press, reports the New York Jets have chosen Florham Park in northern New Jersey as the team's new headquarters and training facility. The team has purchased the 20-acre former Exxon headquarters site for $20 million. The Jets have hired the architecture firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill to design the 110,000 square foot building to include classrooms, locker rooms, a large auditorium, a cafeteria, a press room and a training facility to include three outdoor fields and an indoor field. Construction could begin as soon as December, and the team is planning on moving into their new home in the summer of 2008.
