At Jets Game, a Halftime Ritual of Harassment
At Jets Game, a Halftime Ritual of Harassment]At Jets Game, a Halftime Ritual of Harassment
By DAVID PICKER, NY Times
Published: November 20, 2007
At halftime of the Jets’ home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, several hundred men lined one of Giants Stadium’s two pedestrian ramps at Gate D. Three deep in some areas, they whistled and jumped up and down. Then they began an obscenity-laced chant, demanding that the few women in the gathering expose their breasts...

Re: At Jets Game, a Halftime Ritual of Harassment
Sounds like Jets fans are dirt bags. But the Gate D tradition at Giants Stadium apparently is unique to Jets games; the Gate D ramps are comparatively empty at Giants games. Perhaps forlorn Jets fans, who have rarely had a winning team to support, are seeking alternative entertainment on game days.

I live in north jersey, I know from experience. There's obviously some good guys, but overall as fans they're terrible. Much worse than Giant fans.

I thought our team was bad. It sounds like the best thing about going to a Jets game is getting to see a womans breast.

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.
