Dewayne Robertson doesn't tie up blockers on a consistent basis, largely because he's too small to play nose tackle in the Jets' 3-4 defense. But there is one thing he can tie up: the salary cap. His $11.2 million figure consumes one-tenth of the team's cap....

He's interesting that's for sure. Especially if we lose Spencer Johnson

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Although 6-1 317lbs is pretty imposing, I think Spielman has targeted a DT in the draft that is a bit bigger and that can not only take on the double team but collapse the pocket as well.

In short, I see a youth movement at the DT position this year.

My pick would be a guy like a Red Bryant (6-4 1/2 330lbs) out of Texas A&M (93 tackles (28 solo), 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 8 passes defended and 3 blocked kicks).

    90 Fred Evans DT 24 6-4 305 2 Texas State

    [s]97 Spencer Johnson DT 26 6-3 286 4 Auburn [/s]
    93 Kevin Williams DT 27 6-5 311 5 Oklahoma State
    94 Pat Williams DT 35 6-3 317 11 Texas A&M

I think so too. All I'm saying is, you never know. He would be quality to have, but he'd probably elect to play elsewhere, than behind the Williams'

What are you going to do when the Vikes do the exact opposite of half the things you are predicting

Say I was wrong at 50% of my guesses.

I don't have insight into what is going on in Winter Park
I don't have a scouting staff to scout all the college players.
I don't have access to the players agents.

All I can do (and thats the fun of it) is guess what is gonna happen.

What you gonna do if half the things I predict don't happen?
All the yutz's who said I was nuts for wanting to draft AD (we had CT) in the first round and not someone like Tedd Gin Jr and then had them drafting Rice in the second and not a guy like Jarrett were pretty quite after it happened.

Seriously, I am a yutz who sits at a computer and studies what the team has done historically, what thier needs are (based on my opinion) and then try to guess at what they are gonna do.

    Were is your guess?
Comeon, step of into the deep end.
    Open yourself to criticism.
    Its fun.
    ;D
