    JETS CONSIDERING A TRADE UP

    JETS CONSIDERING A TRADE UP?

We're hearing that the New York Jets are considering an effort to trade up from the No. 25 spot in round one to the top of the draft.

The Jets would like to get in position to draft either receiver Calvin Johnson or running back Adrian Peterson.

To ensure that they'll get either guy, the Jets likely would have to land no lower than No. 3.

I dont want to move back that much.. we got pretty good depth on many positions d-line, safety and some other places.. i would rather add a quality rookie instead of many mediocore guys..

They would have to give up a 1, 2, 3 and players to move up that far

I don't see it happening.......would be very difficult to move from so deep in the first round to the top 5.....And thats where they would have to be, if not better to have a real shot at either two..

If they were smart, they would just trade for Willis McGahee...much cheaper and not really a dropoff!

The 25th position has an approx. value of 730 points. The 3rd position has a value of approx. 2200 (and this may be more this year because of the limited top talent) doing the math they would have to give up all their picks this year and a couple from next year, or all their picks and a couple of players worth maybe a 2nd and a third, that is insane. Even to get our pick (worth approx. 1500 pts.) the would have to give up thier 1st ,2nd, 3rd and a player worth a 2nd.

Smells like a Herschal type deal.

We could come out shining with it.

If there's a chance that the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets can do it, we can certainly do it!
