Wow ... I think he definitely is a little off the deep end here. Good read though.

"Hey, the economy’s struggling,” George said, laughing. “If you threw me into a preseason game to see how I’d do, there are a lot of people who’d be curious, even if a lot of them were rooting for me to fail. I think it would generate some excitement.”
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......He thinks he would be a draw.........AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ;D

Kurt Warner actually had a good career when he was younger though.

Jeff George Begs His Son to Play Catch With Him
sportsp.com
1 April 2009

All Jeff George wants is to play football again.

But his 12-year-old son Tyler simply won’t give him the opportunity.

“I can still throw a football. I have all the ability that I did when I was a 25,” said George. “Someone just has to give me a chance. But the little sh-t won’t play catch with me. He only wants to play catch with his young friends. Yet here I am, with one of the greatest arms in football history, just sitting around.”

Tyler says his dad used up his chances years ago.

“We played catch in 2004 or thereabouts,” said his son. “And he acted like a total prick. I was what – 7-years-old then? And he’s throwing the ball full-speed at me. You know, I’m old enough to get on the Internet. I have read what people have said about my dad. And they’re right – he’s a dick.”

George’s football aspirations have long been derailed by his attitude dating back to his first career stop in Indianapolis in the early ‘90s when he feuded with head coach Ted Marchibroda and instigated Colts fans with sexual-suggestive gestures.

Little Tyler George knows all about those.

“Oh, yeah,” he said. “So dad is whipping the ball at me 70, 80 mph, right? From 15 yards away. And I drop one because it hurts my hands. And he makes this ‘V’ sign with his hands. I didn’t know what it meant when I was seven, but I do now.”

George, a former No. 1 overall pick, hasn’t thrown a regular season pass since 2001. He hasn’t been on a roster since 2004. And he is 41. His NFL days are over.

Or are they?

“I’m still as good as anyone in the league,” said George. “I just need my vagina son to play catch with me. Then I’ll split his hands open with a pass, take him to the hospital to get him treated, leak it all to the press – and then some GM somewhere will see the story about me splitting open my son’s hands with a pass and say: ‘That Jeff George can still throw the ball! Let’s give him a contract.’ It’s a flawless plan.”

But only if Tyler goes along with it.

“He says he just wants to play,” said Tyler. “He says it’s not about money – that he’ll raise my allowance to whatever I want. He says he’s desperate. And I say: ‘Well, dad, sorry. Maybe you shouldn’t have been an a—hole for all those years.’”
