LOL, my buddy is a Raiders fan, and he was DISGUSTED by this.

I have no idea why they would sign him.
I would have to guess they asked Kerry Collins, he said "Eff you!" and Al Davis twitched hard and called George.
    He's only 38, hasn't played in 5 years, so his football body isn't that of a 38-year-old.
He's got a cannon arm and maybe his time away taught him some humility.

Stupid signing, for sure, but not as crazy as some people might think.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

He never touched the field for the Bears and hasn't played in a game for 5 years that is a little bit different than Brad.

    Career Records

    Brad
    65 - 43

    George
    46 - 78

I think I will take Brad!

George made the stupidest decision of his life when he left the Vikes after the 1999 season, he signed with the Redskins for more money and the system didn't fit him and he was done.
He had a great supporting cast here and QB friendly system and he had a chance with a Superbowl contender and he left for the $!

Not a George hater just think he is a stupid person.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Do passing drills in practice count as "real" passes.
Cuzz George has been on a team every year.

He can handle whatever comes his way.

Randall Cunningham came back after a subbaacle.
Trust me, one bad game by Brooks and Jeff George will be starting.
Remember when Green replaced Cunningham with George at that road game in Detroit.
Remember that pass Jeff George threw; fumbled the snap, and threw a bullet to Moss in stride.

Jeff George still has it and reports in today's media will agree. Talented guys only come around so many times.

Oh- and that leadership thing is way overrated.
