Re: Jeff George and Morten Andersen trying to mount comebacks

Depending on where his head / skills are at . . . he could be a veteran "mentor" backup . . . something we don't really have.

He does have a history of issues . . . mostly coming from the "cockiness" of his talent . . . but maybe life / age has opened his eyes.
More than likely he doesn't have a purpose for today's NFL.

Always got a bad rap played on bad teams.. I thought the George to Moss was a pretty good combo!!! I would have liked to have seen him stay with Vikes for a few more years.. Anywho wish him all the luck!!
Jeff George has been a j~~~~~~s since the first moment America noticed him.
How soon people forget the way he left Purdue, committed to Miami, backed out and ended up at Illinois.
People forget the bitching and whining at Indy (fighting with coach, flipping off fans) and Indy and Oakland and here and Washington.
The guy has a rifle arm, but could never keep a job.
    Ever wonder why?

Wow. I guess I never paid that much attention to him.

Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

Hey, You missed the Atlanta part of his career. That was possibly the most entertaining, although June Jones may not agree.

Re: Jeff George and Morten Andersen trying to mount comebacks

The game has passed him by...too bad...all that talent and he let his attitude screw it up.

He will ALWAYS be left to wonder what could have been...life's little revenge on those players who think that they are bigger than the game!

Re: Jeff George and Morten Andersen trying to mount comebacks

Jeff was on NFLN and said he could really be used by alot of nfl teams. He even said "teams with a second year guy starting, and a 4 year veteran as backup" (sounds alot like us) could use a guy like him nowwa days. Terrell Davis agreed then they challenged Jeff to throw bombs into a multi level parking facility.

Yeah - next to "Dickwad" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Jeff George looking annoyed because he's failed, yet again, to measure up to his talent.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

for a guy that turned this team into a contender again in 1999 after coming off the bench and winning 8 out of 10 games, everyone around here sure doesn't seem to like him.

    He was still throwing it 60 yards. Here's the link;
