I liked Jeff George from days at Illinois!!
Always got a bad rap played on bad teams.. I thought the George to Moss was a pretty good combo!!! I would have liked to have seen him stay with Vikes for a few more years.. Anywho wish him all the luck!!

How soon people forget the way he left Purdue, committed to Miami, backed out and ended up at Illinois.
People forget the bitching and whining at Indy (fighting with coach, flipping off fans) and Indy and Oakland and here and Washington.
The guy has a rifle arm, but could never keep a job.
Ever wonder why?

As allways we follow Mort closely here.
I don't feel it'll happen again. But apparently he could still be brought in to the Falcons camp and get a shot at it. Even with the new coach.
There is no doubt he does what he can to stay in shape, and he can still kick those clinchers.
I'm sure I saw a TV interview with Andersen last season and he said he wanted to play on till he was 50. I don't think age is that big an issue with kickers, and if you look at his stats for last year, together with the fact that kickers will be hired and fired during the season, I don't think you can write the guy's career off just yet.
Morten Andersen's career stats.....

Yes, he has said that many times. He feels he has the legs to be able to play for that goal (50 years) if someone just gives him the opportunity.Quote:

He did sit out the 2005 season.
Here in Denmark we're all crossing our fingers that he stays in the game. We just love the guy.
