And if the Vikings had listened to me, we'd have signed Garcia in the 2006 offseason to replace Johnson.

T-Jack would still be learning behind him & IMO we would have finished with a better than 6-10 record in 2006, better than 8-8 in 2007 & realistically been talking Super Bowl in 2008.
Yeah and we prolly wouldnt have drafted at the number 7 spot and gotten AP

Garcia's point lost amid contract grumbling with Bucs

TAMPA — Jeff Garcia may be unhappy with his contract, but he intends to fulfill it.....

....Given the sorry state of quarterbacking in the NFL, the Bucs likely would use a franchise tag and pay him about $9-million for 2009.

Jeff Garcia has hinted at retirement.

As usual, Tampa Bay has quarterbacks coming and going, with futures in question, and answers coming as early as Thursday....

Nice article singer.

Retirement for Garcia? I think he still has 2 or 3 more years of
football and he knows it ,It is a usual movement
by players who are not satisfied with their contracts(which doesn´t surprise at all cause Garcia´s 2 Million $ is a crap compared to his value for the Bucs).I am sure Garcia will get
a new contract in the coming days.
