I would call him a great QB.

Yards alone do not make him a great QB.
Culpepper threw for a ton of yards too, but he was never great.
He's neither a leader nor a clutch QB.
Those are far more important than yards.
Funny thing, Orton is both of those things.

    Orton is an average QB

ANd how do u figure he is both of those? The fact he choked away a couple games this year? Or how they failed to make the playoffs (that's the knock on Cutler these days)

Orton is not a leader or clutch QB
    Orton didn't choke.
He came back and played on a sprained ankle.
His numbers went down because of that.
He won a lot of respect from his teammates for that.
Orton is very underrated, but he has all the intangibles that Cutler lacks.
He's only missing the Jeff George like arm.

Playin with injury is awesome.. But that doesn't equal success.. Just respect

Allen last year had 2 very serious injuries and still owned

Orton went from an average QB to a poor QB on his sprained ankle

It was cool to see him have a go and put it on the line for his team.. But he just wasn't good enough even healthy to help

I'll guarantee that, if Orton starts for Denver next year (and I think he will), he will have a higher QB rating than Cutler at the end of the season.

Not a bad bet since they were pretty close anyway last year and both are up and comers and Cutler had weapons and Orton not so much

But I still feel Cutler is far superior to Orton

I'm really not trying to say that Orton is better than Cutler, just that Cutler isn't worth all this hype or the picks given in trade for him.

I think it can go either really bad for the Bears with losing the picks

I don't think there will be much middle ground personally

I think he's going to struggle.
He's a good quarterback for sure, but he's gonna get roughed up playing against us.

Who is Cutler going to throw to?

    Who is gonna protect him?

Bears defense has not been upgraded so far this off season.

Cutler is nothing more than a mild upgrade to the Bears.
And they have no 1st rounders for two years.
    Ouch!

    Herschel Walker anyone?
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

Right, Kyle Orton is pretty good at what he does, im not sure Cutler is two first round picks more worth than him, plus Cutlers stats are "lying" because Denver doesnt run the ball..

Bears need to sign some help at the offensive line and at wide reciever before Cutler will fare well..
