I just checked my old Kings Island workers manual.
If I make any racist or otherwise inflammatory marks, I may be terminated at my immediate supervisors discretion. I will not be considered for rehire.

Dog did not lose his show because of the arrest, it was simply hard to film new episodes while he was in jail.

His show was pulled because of his racist comment, but was re-instated just over a month ago & that is the fact.

The star's TV show Dog The Bounty Hunter was reinstated this week (ends24Feb08). The series was axed following Chapman's taped racial slur last November (07).

He was an oddsmaker for football games.
Now to some of you kiddies he means nothing, but to a few old timers, he was a regular on CBS NFL Football sunday show.
He said something kind of off beat and rascist.
He stated the fact that african americans were better athletes due to being from the biggest and best slaves of africa.
Boom he created such a firestorm. He never worked in the TV industry again.

Nowhere does it say a punishment requires incarceration, fine, or any type of government/workplace action.


A punishment is simply a negative response upon a person who committed an offense.

I believe calling someone a racial slur, whether it be nigger, honkey, wetback, wop, chink, pollack, kike, towel-head, etc. Would be considered an offense.

Therefore, it is punishable.

Whether or not it is government or corporately imposed, does not matter. The media and public boycotting or backlashing upon an entertainer or anyone for that matter can literally ruin their life. There is no way that can not be called a punishment.

Racism should be accepted the same way regardless of the race of the person committing the racist act.

I am sorry it would be to me racist in that situation. it would be like me saying it to that in that context. You cannot say it any different. He is a professional period. And he needs to keep it that way. If he would have been caucasion and called someone black the other word you know it would have been racist.
It just needs to be stopped. Call someone an ass or somehting. To me you are showing how you feel about other races.
