Thread: Jamal Lewis.

Lewis got four months in prison, two months in a half way house, and 500 hours community service. I don't know about you, but they could have stayed his prison time. He'll probably only do a couple months and get out on good behaviour, but why even have him in there in the first place. If they really wanted to punish him, they should have gave him 4 months worth of community service.

How long would we all be in jail for doing the exact same crime? Does anybody know?

Put it this way, his co-defendant with the same original charges received 37 months in prison.

A brief summary...

Lewis was sentenced to four months in prison for using a cell phone to try to set up a cocaine deal. Lewis pleaded guilty. Prosecutors agreed to drop more serious drug conspiracy and attempted cocaine possession charges. Defense lawyer Ed Garland said the sentence was fair. The additional charges against his co-defendant Angelo Jackson were not dropped. He pleaded guilty to attempting to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine. He was sentenced Wednesday to 37 months in federal prison.


Lewis got off easy considering the federal charges he was originally facing. Four months is nothing. He is one lucky SOB...

The real question is: Will he be someone's beeyatch while in jail?
