Jackson Going to Frisco
http://profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm
Michael Smith of ESPN.com reports that the Seattle Seahawks are close to a deal that would send receiver Darrell Jackson to the San Francisco 49ers.
In return, the Niners would send a fourth-round draft pick to Seattle.
The trade is contingent on Jackson passing a physical.
It's a somewhat unusual intra-division swap, and the 'Hawks will now have to face the guy they dumped twice per year.
In San Fran, Jackson joins Ashely Lelie and Arnaz Battle.
Jackson and Lelie likely will compete for the role of No. 1 wideout.

Re: JACKSON GOING TO FRISCO
san francisco has executed a textbook rebuilding period..this is what minnesota needs to do..allow the youth on our team to blossom, and as soon as they sneak up and suprise ppl, suddenly FAs and good players want to play there..thats exactly the way we need to rebuild, and it looks like thats the plan
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

Re: Jackson Going to Frisco
you see.
this is why i've been getting pissed off.
why is this something we couldn't do.
or is there gonna be some excuse about darrel jackson not being good enough.
a 4th round pick, to get a proven nfl 1000 yard reciever.
i mean they are trading within their own division for christ sakes.
LET THAT WHICH DOES NOT MATTER, TRULY SLIDE

I agree 100%, but I am excited about tommorow, while many fans might not like a pick of landry, I would love, especially if Dwayne Jarrett somehow slips into the 2nd round (crosses fingers)you see.

Re: Jackson Going to Frisco
I am not completely sure why the Vikings didn't look into Jackson. He is fairly young yet, has proved to be a solid WR in the WCO and can actually catch the friggen ball. I am a little bit dissapointed but I will get over it tomorrow when we get Meachem
;D

Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

Re: Jackson Going to Frisco
Yeah I would have been very happy if we gave our second rounder for Jackson.
He is great when healthy.
