It's official, Shaun Alexander staying put.

Well, everyone, there is one less RB on the list available to the Vikes. Personally, I think it was a mistake for the Seahawks to sign him to the 8 year/$62 mil. deal, considering he only overperformed in his contract year, but I'm no GM.

I still say we go for Edge.

    Oh well, give me Edge.

I would rather have Edgerrin James anyway.. I am sure the Vikes are going after him as we speak... Or atleast I hope so.

Only if Edge doesn't cost nearly as much as Alexander. If he wants too much money, then we are better off spending it elsewhere, like the O-line and at LB, and drafting a good young RB.

8 years 62 mil...man that is a pretty penny. I hope Edge comes a lot cheaper than that, otherwise I agree with WOT!

Ah, there might not be a cap in the future. I want an extremely proven back... give me Edge pretty much no matter what it takes.

Seahawks are damn lucky there is no guaranteed money!

Hes guaranteed 15 mil this year, too bad hes gonna get cut in 4.

Ive given up on Edge, I say we buff up our line and linebackers this Free Agency and draft one of the young RBs, most like DeAngelo Williams, or LenDale White.

Even if there isn't a cap after this season, we will still have to pay his contract, meaning if it is too big, we might not be able to afford to sign other better players in the future, with us being a small market team.
