No he didn't. Pep stacked the cards to get himself on the Miami team he had always dreamed of. However we are bad at QB right now.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I don't understand how anyone, even if there are only a few, still think that Childress "ran" CP out of town.
You can fault Childress for a lot of things, but that is not one of them.

Because it's convenient to structure memories so that they justify the irrational hate spewing forth from the masses at The Big Chill.
Why remember the truth when it's so much easier to say things like "Childress ran Culpepper outta town", "The Vikings should have traded for Moss" and "Drew Brees should be the Vikings QB."

Daunte plays the full season and he'll be comeback player of the year.
Too bad he isn't with us anymore.

When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

He won't play the full season.
JaMarcus Russell will be starting by Week 10.

You really think they are going to go to Russell if they are putting up 35 points a game and wining with Culpepper?

They are tied for the division lead right now.

Do you really think they will continue to put up 35 points per game with Culpepper?
Fargas ran for 179 yards that game.
He had a lot more to do with the win than CP did.

    Re: Irony... 5/12 2TD 0 INT 7rushes 28 Yards 3ruTD's

I don't think they are going to put 35 points every game, no.
I do think they will contiue to have an efficient offense (that will outscore ours every week) though.

    Good game for Fargas.
How many points did he score?
I'm pretty sure that if Daunte doesn't lead his team into the endzone those 5 times, they still lose.
No matter how many yards Fargas has.
So, no, Fargas didn't have more to do with wining than Culpepper did.
Who gives a damn about yards? You falter in the end zone and you lose.
Sometime us Vikings know all about (or should).
When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

    Oh bullshit.

CP's first TD come off from an INT at the 11 yard line.
And it still took CP five tries to "lead" his team into the end zone.
CP's second TD came with the following secquence of events: run, run, incomplete pass, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, TD pass.
Wow, doesn't look like the run helped at all (oh yeah, and only one of those runs was by CP, for four yards).
How about the third TD? Run, run + penalty, run, incomplete pass, 5 yard TD scramble.
That second run BTW was Fargus for 48 yards.
    Yeah, that was ALL culpepper...
The fourth TD? Ten straight runs before CP's TD pass to Porter.
One of those runs was a CP run for nine yards, I'll give him that one.
The fifth? Eight straight runs by Fargas before CP walks it in from 3 yards out.

Crediting this win to CP and not giving Fargas any credit is ridiculous.
ANY of our QBs, even Brooks, could have won like that.
