    I'm new to PurplePride.org

    Hello.

    I'm a NY Jets fan who enjoys corresponding with fans from other teams.

    I like the Vikes and I think they made a great hire with Childress.

    Also, I'm in the minority of Jets fans who believe Tice can be a decent HC for us if the Eric Mangini deal falls through.

    What's the take on Tice on this board?

    I would read the threads with Tice in the title; there are in the Fan Forum. Look back a few pages. Fan Forum

    You will get a whole lot of differing opinions!

    Glad to see some Jets fans go to the right places for info instead of the media or stats!

    He is a great guy and has a real passion for the game but at times his teams seem underprepared and he seems to get out coached on a regular basis in big games.

    Welcome aboard! I liked Tice but he needed to go. I believe he will be a successful head coach in this league.
