We are better than the Cardinals.

In the case of playoffs, I always cheer for the team that eliminates my team, if my team made it.

With that said, I'd rather see the Cardinals win & get the earlier draft pick, rather than have some self-gratifying, hollow reason to make myself feel better & try to minimize & sugarcoat our loss to the Eagles.

Besides, like I said earlier, I still think it's better to see a team win the NFC Championship that we know we can beat, rather than seeing a team win it that we know we lost to.

Outside of going to the Super Bowl, the post-season has no bearing on draft placement.
Only regular-season records are used.
The Vikings are drafting 22nd.

But not only that, IMO it's no coincidence or fluke that the top three defenses in the NFL are among the final four survivors.

That's why I get upset when they call Bill Belichick a freakn' "Genius".

The two best offenses (most points scored in a season) in the history of the NFL BOTH choked.
The '98 Vikes and the 2007 Patriots.

You would have though this guy would know too put more stock in his defenses.
That's why they were not in the playoffs this year, as well.

I guess "If you can't lick 'em, join 'em" eh?

Yet the big talk around here last offseason was how we "owned " the Super Bowl champion Giants when we played them earlier in the season.

You can cheer for the Eagles if you want, if it gives you some false sense of gratification that you think it makes us look better, but in reality, we are the same team that lost to them. It doesn't make us better one iota.

I don't want the CARDS to make it to the NFC game in 46 yrs the Super Bowl.
