Wouldn't the Cardinals wining, a team that we beat soundly, make us look better, rather than having a team win that we lost to?

Who would you rather have win the NFC Championship; A team we beat or a team we lost to?

We are better than the Cardinals.

Well... in my work playoff pool I got stuck with the 1st and 8th pick (only the 4 employees playing, not our boss) and I chose the Titans (choke-jobs) and I got stuck with the Cardinals. Having said that.... GO CARDINALS!!!!

If the Eagles win, we pick 22nd in the draft.

If the Cardinals win, we pick 21st in the draft

If Arizona wins it would get th 31st or 32nd pick and Philadelphia would still have a higher winning percentage than the Vikings.

Vikings: 10 - 7; winning percentage of .588

Philadelphia: 11 - 7 - 1; winning percentage of .605 (11.5/19)

So the Vikings would be selecting 21st if Arizona wins. Go Cardinals!

With that said, I'd rather see the Cardinals win & get the earlier draft pick, rather than have some self-gratifying, hollow reason to make myself feel better & try to minimize & sugarcoat our loss to the Eagles.

Besides, like I said earlier, I still think it's better to see a team win the NFC Championship that we know we can beat, rather than seeing a team win it that we know we lost to.
