    Thats just a wild guess by me Singer, I also think part of the reason he's around still is the possibility the team asked him to stay on board.

    Aaron Rodgers was drafted in 2005, but Favre is not hanging around just to groom him. In one of his interviews he adamantly stated that he will not teach/groom Rodgers. If he wanted to learn from him, he'd have to watch him play.
    Well, Hasselback watched and learned for a while.
    Has Rodgers ever started a game?

    No, not a regular season game. That would have screwed up Favre's consecutive starts record.
