They would realize it is tougher than it looks. Most would probably look like lost little girls compared to Childress. They would also realize that coaching is over rated and that games are won and lost primarily by the players. A good game plan never works if the team can't execute it, a bad game plan will work if executed well.
Exactly, we should get rid of a full time HC and go back to the days of player coaches in sports.

I'd buy stock in clipboards & pencils.

The coaches would then become the fans & the stadiums would be just about bare. The vendors would have very few people to sell the beer & panuts to. Beer & peanut sales would plumment causinging the price of beer & peanuts all over the country to skyrocket.

Peanutbutter would be so gol 'darnit expensive, mothers wouldn't be able to afford to feed their kids a nutritious meal.

The vendors would lose their jobs due to the lack of sales & would have to go on welfare. The increase in the amount of funds outgoing to pay for the out of work vendors on welfare, would cause politicians to raise taxes.

So lets recap, beer & peanuts would be a luxury & not part of the daily diet & there would be a bunch of mal-nourished sickly kids running around.

On second thought, lets leave things the way they are.

Let coaches coach & let the fans continue to swill beer & eat peanuts.

    Man law?
    Man Law
But what would all those tofu eating Pats fans with peanut allergies do?

If peanuts were not selling, wouldn't their price go down?

If fans were coaches we would have anarchy, lynchings, and general knee jerking spasm's with frightening frequency. Wholesale changing of rosters, no chance to develope players, and many short careers. :-X

There would be nothing positive in any game.

    If I were a coach......

I would make my gameplan based on what Madden tells me to do in Madden football and still be a better overall playcaller than Bevell and Chilly Dawg.
