Interesting. Jostens will be able to make rings for the home team in the not too distant future. What's all this ring talk? Steelers are going down worse than Paris Hilton on a saturday night. Groan.
The winning team gets 150 rings, and they can give them to whoever they want, even the gatorade girl, as this article from last year describes.
Did you know that the losing team also gets rings? There are guidelines about them that say that they have to be worth a certain percentage less than the championship ring. These are often refered to as the AFC or NFC championship rings...
Also, Minneapolis based Jostens has made the majority of the Super Bowl rings. Shame they haven't made one for the home team yet, but I keep hoping!

I did a little research myself and to add to this, the winning football team can have more than 150 rings . . . if they pay for them. However, the first 150 are paid for by the NFL.What's all this ring talk? Steelers are going down worse than Paris Hilton on a saturday night. Groan.

I think they have different rings. I know that when the Angles won the series they gave EVERYONE in the Angles Organization a ring worth $15,000. It became a big deal because some of the employees put their rings on Ebay.Don't practice squad players get rings too?
A guy that worked out at my gym last year, was technically a member of the Red Sox, yet he was in Ohio watching them win the world series, and he got a ring. He did pitch in about 20 games for them during the regular season, though. He just wasn't on their active roster in the playoffs.300

Re: HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE THIS GUY?
Most players, practice swuad members, personnel guys, administration, etc. get rings when a team wins a World Title. My father is good friends with a member of the St. Louis Cardinals organization ... he is like an equipment guy of some sorts ... but he has a 1982 World Title ring and an 85, 87 and 04 NL Championship ring.
It looks like the lucky guy here is the guy that was signed to the practice squad!!

Steelers promote LB from practice squad
Jan. 24, 2006
PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Pittsburgh Steelers signed linebacker Arnold Harrison from their practice squad Tuesday to replace Andre Frazier, who will miss the Super Bowl with a broken right ankle.
Frazier was injured during the Steelers' 34-17 victory over Denver in the AFC championship game Sunday. Harrison is a 6-foot-3, 236-pound free agent from Georgia.
To replace Harrison on their practice squad, the Steelers signed defensive tackle Grant Bowman. He spent the 2004 season on their practice squad but was released during training camp last summer.
