You really think he's improved that much? He got benched after 2 games here.

I'm with Paul on this one... If he starts a tall, he'll go out due to injury before being benched for performance.

I finally got to watch the first half of the game on the rebroadcast last night, and in all honesty, he didn't look nearly as bad to me as a lot of you are makiog him out to be. He was under a lot of pressure due to poor O-line protection, and often made something out of nothing with his athletic ability.

He's far from elite, still, but his failings in this game were mostly not his fault. He (or Charlie, or whoever) is going to get killed out there if their protection doesn't take a major step up.

Well said Adequately articulated my friend. When I first looked at the talent they added I figured it would be alot better than what they had last year.

Now I'm not so sure that the right side and the LT position can be made any better other than to let the right side get reps and hope your LT's ankles somehow become better.

That's the funny thing about this whole argument. I think both the haters and sniffers can probably agree with that simple statement. The problem is the haters make him out worse than he really is and in order to rush to his defense the sniffers come off like he's a victimized Joe Montana.
