How Many Games Until T-Jack Is Benched In Seattle?

I give Tarvaris Jackson three games as the starter for the Seahawks until the boo-birds come unglued. I'm sure Seattle will realize they bought a lemon by the end of the second game, but since they have hyped T-Jack so much they probably let him stink it up the third game too.

I can't see him getting the start at all.

Whitehurst has outplayed him every game so far. Every day that goes on, the more Whitehurst learns the scheme and catches up with TJ in that regard. There will come a point where they simply can't justify keeping TJ as the starter.

Test will be if they let Whitehurst handle the first team reps in the third game. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening.

First 2 games are on the road

Week 3 he might do well against the Cards

Week 4 the defense against the Falcons will cost them the game

Week 5 against the Giants defense will crush that line and have Tarvaris running straight back and throwing in the grasp......bad decisions will be made by him and the bye week will be used to roll Charlie in

They are going to tank the season for Matt Barkley regardless of who the QB is. So it's pretty irrelevant.

Well ... If they are going to tank, then they might as well go all out and get Luck.

I don't think anyone in that division will be a tanking though.

My guess is he is benched 1 or 2 weeks before McNabb.Probably week 3-5

(But for the record, I think he will get killed behind that horrible OL before he has a chance to get benched).

Heard an interesting discussion on Sirius Monday morning as I drove into work talking about the perceptions that teams were going to tank a season to get into the Luck sweepstakes.

Basically the discussion went along the lines that only fans are the ones who believe a staff would try this. Truth of the matter is, if one team was to try it, who is to say that another team wouldn't also try it and beat the other team out for a worse record.

Long story short, If a organization wants a certain player in the the draft they can get him by trading instead of losing games and jeopordizing fan support by having a losing record.
