For some reason I would like to think that our players wouldn't do something like that unless the FO asked them to.....If any of our QBs reached out to him he probably would just laugh.Jay Cutler's already reached out to Burress to see if he might be interested in becoming a Bear
Call it a "More Structured Environment" if you will.

I could see Chilly giggling a little when someone suggests bringing in Burress.

Re: How bold are the Bears feeling? Bold enough for Plaxico Burress?
This could work out in our favor.
Bears sign Plax. Plax still thinks he's the shiit, but isn't. His eroding skills and the leg he shot himself deters him from being the beast that he wants once. Instead, this egotistic maniac blames it on another egotistic maniac- QB Cutler. This quarrell brings down Cutlers confidence and self respect. So to make up, Plax takes Cutler to a club in NY, both shoot themselves...wallah! Two birds, one stone.Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.

Re: How bold are the Bears feeling? Bold enough for Plaxico Burress?
That would make the Bears offense pretty damn scary though. They could switch from a base I-formation to a (nearly) 4 receiver set with one audible and no personel switching. Having Plaxico, Hester (Who they should only play on ST), Olsen and Forté on the field all at once is pretty scary. Especially if they line them up at receiver when the defense comes out in a base 4-3 or 3-4.
I don't like all the ridiculing of Chilly though. You, as Vikings fans, should stand behind him and try to keep him in Minnesota for at least another year or ten."You can look pretty smart if you have a knack for planning ahead. That's Ted. The Packers are in good hands." - Ron Wolf

Ehh... Don't like the thought of the Bears with Plax on the field, not at all.
That's a lot of weapons.
