Why did hovan go to the bucs was it a trade or free agency?

Free agency.. he left because we wouldn't resign his untalented ass!

He was just as much of a drag as Randy was.

He was a FA and if you wonder why we let him leave you obviously were not watching the Vikings play. He was a nonfactor from week 2 on and was inactive for several weeks during the season.

I can believe he just stopped being productive. He was one of the leagues best just a year ago. He also had a great fire in him. I went to the vikings game when they played philly in week 2 and he was constantly threatening to rip peoples heads off and stuff. i was at least 15 rows back from the bench. I think the whole stadium could hear him.

Two years ago he gained a lot of weight (muscle mass) and really lost his speed. That was what hurt him when he first started to decline. Last offseason he lost that weight, got some of his speed back and was supposed to make a resurgence, but never did. Thankfully K-Will stepped up!

Hovan was never one of the best. He was all hype, his mouth was bigger than the talent. I wanted him gone before last year. If k-will can get 10 sacks his rookie year and hovans numbers drop, then there is a problem. In 3 years hovan won't be in the NFL.
