Thread: Hmm... Franks contract better than Gates?

Today, the Pack signed Franks for 7 yr/ 28 mil.

Also today, it was discovered that Antonio Gates' contract is a 6 yr/ 22.5 mil deal.

I know its pretty easy to manipulate the value of a contract, but this is pretty funny. At least GB is showing a rededication to the defensive side of the ball by paying a mediocre tight end among top 5 in the league. If the Pack wants someone to catch a couple 8 yd TDs each year and take forever to understand the offense, my schedule is pretty open.

They are both way over paid.

Franks isn't worth that much, and no one knows if Gates is going to be a flash in the pan or a consistent player. That's too much $ for both!

i think we better re-sign wiggins to a 12 year, 87 million dollar contract with about 60 of it guaranteed, that'll show em!

Didn't wiggins only sign a 4 year for 7 mil deal? Man he is waaaaay better than that turd franks.
