New York Jets head coach Herman Edwards said he's done talking about QB Chad Pennington (shoulder) and won't be giving daily updates on his status. "I'm telling you this. He's out. He's out, okay? He's out. This game, he's out. The other (QB Jay Fiedler) guy's out. If they want to come and talk, they can talk. I'm not going to stand here every day and give a Chad Pennington update," Edwards said. "I've got a football team to coach right now... Until I see it different, right now I'm not counting on him coming back. That's how I look at it. Maybe Jay can come back later in the season sometime, maybe. I don't know that either."

last week herm brought out a sheet to show the media that said the jets "keys to winning", herm is a really messed up guy, i've read tice blowing up like this before, the lastest one i read about tice was about the running back situation and how he wasn't saying another word about it

I like Herm, cause he is honest. He is a straight shooter.

I trust him more than our own coach.

I think Herm is a great coach that has been forced to ride a broken arm of Chad Pennington for a couple of years now. He will be all right and so will the Jets in the long run if they keep him at the helm.

shame ricky ray (third string last year) didnt stay on the team because he would be starting right now. ricky is the starting qb for the edmonton eskimos in the cfl.
