KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Coach Herm Edwards apologized to Kansas City Chiefs fans Tuesday for telling them to "get over it," and said he should have chosen his words more carefully in talking about their reaction to his team's long losing streak........

Re: Herm Edwards says he's sorry for his choice of words
Pisses me off that we scored more points on the field, but lost to them!
The TE made the catch IMHO!
Replay showed it....replay official had his head up his a$$!
That being said.....it should not have come down to one play against that team.I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

Re: Herm Edwards says he's sorry for his choice of words
IMHO he is one of the most overated coaches in the NFL.
In his five years as Jets coach, Edwards had a 39-41 record, including a 2-3 record in the playoffs and a 5-15 stretch during his final 20 regular season games with the club. With a strong veteran team in place following Bill Parcells tenure in the organization, the Jets had mild success in Edwards' first two seasons, reaching the playoffs in both.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herman_EdwardsNYJ 2001 10 6

Absolutely 100% agree...he should stick to motivational speaking engagements.
He snuck out of NY, and I'm so glad Zygi didn't hire him.

Re: Herm Edwards says he's sorry for his choice of words
I just thank God that our team is improving instead of declining like several others. And I thank God Herm didn't end up in Minnesota. Hear that Childress haters. We could have ended up with Herm.
I still remember how he played to the cameras in that preseason HBO training camp show. I thought then, this guy should be more worried about coaching. But evidently he was auditioning for an analyst position after he gets fired. He's a star. lol !“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

If he gets fired, he'll get over it.
