    I second that motion.
At least he has some Super Bowls on his resume.
Unlike the past few coaches we've had.

Assuming Childress blows it this year (not a long-shot by any means). I wouldn't be opposed to Shanahan coming in. The only thing that would worry me is he's all about smaller, faster O-lineman, he would be inheriting a big & talented bunch. So on the condition that he doesn't fuck with the O-line...

Still I'd prefer Cowher, if our heads are already in the clouds...

call me crazy, but I don't really want Cowher. He's a great coach, no doubt, but I'm not sure he's best suited for our team.
On the condition he doesn't force his schemes on us, then mabye, but I don't want to go through another 3 years of rebuilding when we have the talent to win now.

As if the pressure wasn't high enough on Childress. lol.
Now there is a legimate replacement out there...

The only scheme I wouldn't want Cowher to bring is the 3-4. We have the best tandem of DTs in the game, enough said. I would have no problems with his run to set up the pass offense combined with some more elaborate blitz packages.

Besides someone needs to take those damn challenge flags away from Childress... I don't care who it is, give them to a drunk guy in the front row, he will utilize them better.

Like Les Steckle, Jerry Burns, Denny Green, Mike Tice and Brad Childress?

And like John Fox, Sean Payton, Lovie Smith, Mike McCarthy, Tony Sparano, Mike Mangini, Romeo Crennel, Herm Edwards, Jim Caldwell, Mike Singletary and on and on and on and on.

just think, Dungy, Billick and Tomlin both have rings, and we had all 3 of them as coordinators.
