Harvey ends 33-day holdout, signs with Jags

All I can say is, THANK GOD, we got Jared Allen instead of drafting this guy.
He is not going to be effective for at least a third of the season, if not more.

no guarantee that he will ever be effective, he's never done it on the pro level.... and they gave up the same amount of picks as us to get this unproven rookie, thankx kc for 69!

    Sports is totaly upside down.
When dealing with vets, it's "What have you done for me lately" attitude but rookies are demanding stupid amounts based on amature successes.
I wonder if this would work in business -

    "You're applying for CEO?"
    "Yes sir"
    "What are your qualifications?"
"Well, last year in college I was first in all my business classes, was voted Most Likely to succeed by my peers, and was outstanding in all of our in class scenerios."

He is what the jags needed to attempt to take down the colts. They had to over pay. Oh well.

And I remember a bunch of PPO'rs who were trying to convince me that this guy was the way to go in the draft.

I still like what Merling has been doing compared to this cat. ;D

It is still too early to tell. For all we know Harvey could light it up. See me after the season.
