Rich Karlis, K - 1982-88
Was there ever any doubt?
Sure, the list of Broncos to wear #3 isn't that awe-inspiring, but could anyone but Rich karlis get the nod?

Re: The Greatest Broncos Of All Time - Rich Karlis
Wow! I never heard about that.Karlis's wife had apparently spoken badly about the Viking's O-lineman, who she felt were becoming a bad influence on her husband.
When word got back to the "slobs" they vowed to get even.
Get even they did, when one day before practice they captured Karlis, tied his hands and feet, stuck a gag in his mouth and blind-folded him.
After tossing a rope over the cross-bar, they strung Karlis up by his feet, placing a sign on his jersey that read, ""Wife talked about offensive line."
Let that be a lesson to all you kickers out there.

I couldn't say. Would they be deemed "out of uniform" & get fined. I recall a Viking (Winfield I think) getting fined for wearing the wrong color socks)"singersp" wrote:

The offensive linemen were waiting, including Karlis' own brother-in-law, Kirk Lowdermilk who towered at 6-foot-3 and 270 pounds. Not only was he Karlis' relative and the Vikings' primary center, but he was also the chief organizer of the "Get Karlis" plot.
Lowdermilk was the brother of Mrs Karlis I believe

Sure, why not?
It is the offseason.
I say their best kicker ever was the guy they had last year. He made some clutch game winning FG's early in the season. ;D

Nope. I posted it because Karlis was a Vikings kicker. Plus I thought what they did to him was quite humorous.are we actually going to argue who the best kicker is for the broncos is?
