The Great Comback Artist: Brett Favre

Heard an interesting stat today on ESPN Radio. It pertains to everyone's greatest "comeback artist", Favray. He is 0-27, yes 0-27 in games where the Packers were down by 14 points or more in the second half. Food for thought.

yah i saw that stat yesterday on MNF game, madden was saying how much favre actually hated coming back late in the game. still though, he came dang close last nite even with all the injuries, not defending him just stating a fact.

    Thanks Josdin

I did not know that, wow.

Just goes to show how the Media can manipulate things when they like/don't like someone.

You mean kinda like GB never losing at Lamb Boo in the month of December, when the temp is below 28 degrees & the wind is a blowin' out of the north?

He definitely does get those bullcrap stats made up about him, but to be fair, not many QBs ever come back when trailing by more than 14 points in the second half, and I am pretty sure that D.C. has never done it. Hell, I cannot really think of D.C. getting us more than a 3 or 4 point comeback win ... hopefully he can figure that out.

the media's love affair is back for Favre.. *sigh* not sure if it ever really went away. they can't stop talking about him against the saints, he's throwing the ball well, but the media is saying oh yah here come the packers. they're going to just keep playing well the last of the season and blah blah blah. *PUKE*

    Thanks Josdin
