Good News? Pollack close to deal
GEORGETOWN, Ky. - The only No. 99 Bengals jersey at Georgetown College on Wednesday night was on the back of a fan.
David Pollack's contract holdout reached seven days and 10 practices lost Wednesday night.
Talks were quiet as the team took the field for practice at 7 p.m.
Apparently, Bengals management and Pollack's agents are bickering over a few hundred thousand dollars in guaranteed signing-bonus money.
Of course, neither Bengals management nor agent Ken Kremer is commenting on negotiations. Kremer visited Bengals camp Tuesday but left, obviously, without a deal.
Pollack is just one of nine of 32 first-round draft picks still unsigned.
The sides are believed to have agreed on the contract value and length: $9.5 million over five years. Still, Pollack remains at his in-season home in Mason. He was on the field Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park before the Reds game against Atlanta.
At this point I just want Erasmus in camp. He needs a chance to win a spot on the roster and Pollack siging might push the deal over the edge.

Go over there and tell him to sign the deal so Erasmus' agent will stop fooling around.

Sounds like 9 1/2 million. That's alot of money. Hope we ink Erasmus for a long term deal too. That would be sweet.
