I don't mind Maddens' play by play, EXCEPT when he does the Packer games.

Any QB other then Bert Farve throws an interception:

Madden: "What a bone headed mistake that was, so-and-so should have just hung onto the ball and taken the loss instead of digging his team in a hole bigger then Texas"

Bert throws a pick:

Madden: "That there folks is the most godlike attempt at rallying a team from a deficit you will EVER witness" (as he fills ten more minutes of air time arse kissing and saying Bert Farve 1,000,000 times just in case you didn't hear him say it the first 999,999 times)

Not surprising really, he's obviously commenting on the Pack's MNF games this year. Then he knows that they will suck sooooo bad that the following year they won't be on MNF - so he has to move to NBC in order to carry on puckering up to them for the 2006 season :lol:

actually he had a comment on this 1993-94 video yearbook for the vikes. he said in paraphrase...
"it is a shame that everyone really talks down the vikes and the media never really gives them a break."

this was in 93. now i guess he is simpathetic to MN but a hypocrit just the same. when favre retires at the end of this season, madden will lose his will to live.

No surprise, even if Favre has gone into retirement, that wouldn't stop John from getting a hard-on when babbling about Brett like he was the greatest rentboy Madden has ever had. Boom.

Now, it is not just Madden, everyone in the media kisses Favre's ass. I am not a Favre basher like a lot on here ... he is hands down a hall of famer and is a top 10 QB of all-time, but he does get his ass kissed by the media. I mean if Moss had got hooked on pain killers it would have been the end of the world.
