    Bears | Police and courts: Gilmore facing marijuana charge

    The Associated Press reports Chicago Bears TE John Gilmore was arrested Saturday, July 22, and charged with possession of marijuana. Gilmore allegedly refused to leave a bar and got into a "small tussle" with police. Police spokesman Marcel Bright said, "It was a small tussle, nothing serious. He refused to be handcuffed." Gilmore was arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 2 1/2 grams of marijuana. Bright said Gilmore was released from police custody after posting bond.
