DENVER (AP)â€â€When John Elway finally hoisted a Super Bowl trophy in the twilight of his career, much of the credit went to running back Terrell Davis....
I met him a few times when he played for us and he was always one of my favorite Vikings. I hated to see him leave us and really hate that he was eventually replaced by Steussie who is one of my least favorite Vikings of all time.
I am not too crazy about this comment, though

I watched his press conference last night.
He still seemed cool.
Steroids?
Very good speech last night.
As with all new HC's, sometimes they shitcan players that we the fans don't agree with.
He was one of those guys I hated to see go during that time frame.
Very deserving candidate for the Hall IMHO.
