The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers RB Samkon Gado worked during the offseason at a local hospital. He wants to become a doctor and return to his homeland in Nigeria after his NFL career ends. "I think that the problem that is going on in Africa is really being overlooked," he said. "And I think it's kind of sad. ... But I think when you just look at the need, I feel like it's too hard to ignore."

That's a fantastic attitude to have.

A very honourable, selfless goal.. I'm extremely impressed with him.

Yeah, they had talked about this during cheesedick games last year. Good for him that he has something to fall back on because his NFL career is going to be short lived!!
