Collins and Redman have both been resigned.

I'm still hoping for Billy Volek

Of the remainder of that list (Volek, Culpepper, Leftwich and Green), Volek appears to be the best option for us.
    Culpepper, been there.
Leftwich, stock fell faster than about any QB I can remember.
Green (the human candle as Solomon puts it...unless there those goofy tricky candles that keep lighting after you blow them out, probably not going to last long in MN).

That leaves Volek on that list, which would make a lot of sense.
Give competition to TJack and give us a viable option backup option.

If Green comes cheap, maybe you put him on staff with TJ and BB and let him mentor a bit.
Play a couple games if needed, highly likely.
You could even go for QB in the draft if you dump Brooks and bring in Green.
I wouldn't lay down a lot of cash for this one, but I wouldn't completely dismiss it.

I guess that list fell all to shit this weekend.

Only ones left are the ones no one (including me) wants.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — A free agent for barely more than half a day, Billy Volek was eating lunch with his family at his offseason home in Fresno when his agent called. The San Diego Chargers had made a "pretty interesting" offer. Good enough, it turned out, that Volek didn't need to book trips to visit with other teams.

The backup quarterback agreed to a three-year contract Friday afternoon to remain with the Chargers, whom he helped reach the AFC championship game by scoring the winning touchdown in an upset win at Indianapolis.
Volek said staying with the Chargers was more important than trying to become a starter with a team that might not have as good a shot as the Chargers do at reaching the Super Bowl.

There's really no good FA QBs left out there.
I see the Vikings possibly trading for someone like Losman or using the draft at this point.
