Bring him in for a look. I am never against bringing in someone for a look. If he wants to play with us and will take less money than Hicks....bring him in.

its fred taylor, do you honestly think the'll take less money than hicks?
Do you really think he'd agree to be the #3 for us?
He can't return kicks, what good would he be for us.
There is absolutely no point in bringing him in, other than eating up cap space to sit on the bench and get about 5 plays a game.

This is a perfect example of the value carried by aging RBs.
For all those talking about trading CTaylor for a (insert position of need here), take a look at Freddie Taylor.
He even said he would take a pay cut to remain with the Jags, and they still released him.

This is why people are saying we won't get much trying to trade Chester Taylor.

    I_bleed,
You take evrything too seriously and that's why sometimes you get lured into an argument by someone simply playing with you(me).

Seriously, Taylor is not what we need as a number 3 but neither is Hicks.
HIcks returns this year ahve been in a word lackluster. In fact he lost his job to DR last year prior to DR's injury.

    Big difference between the two.
Fred is 33 years old and has carried the load for many years, 2,428carries.
Chestor is 29 years old and has been a back up most of his career, 934carries.

RB have no value. They are easily replaced and they don't last long. We would be luck to get a 5th for Chester.

The only way I have any interest in FT is if we are trying to trade CT.
Otherwise he is worthless to us...CT is better and FT doesnt help on special teams at all so he is a waste as a 3rd back.

    Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."
