I can only hope that Foley gets the job.
That would aid in the continued decline of that pathetic organization.

    I can only say LMAO.

Good job by the Raiders, I think he could be their man. Even when he were here he were really very much like a Raider. In hindsight it all becomes so clear.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Foley was leading the draft team who brought in Chad Greenway, Ced Griffen, Ryan Cook, Tarvaris Jackson, Ray Edwards and Greg Blue.
    Don't forget that.

He may be a lying jackass, but I'm pretty happy with that draft class right now.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I like the players we got. But still I think it could have been done in a better way

There is no doubt that Fran Foley is not a nice man - at least in the office.
He could be the greatest dad ever, for all I know.
And he could have handled a lot of things better in his 2 weeks with the Vikings.

But it's not necessarily a bad hire for the Raiders, based on his football knowledge and that track record.
There's a potential for SIX starters for the Vikings out of that draft.
    That's damn good.

Some of that you could also attribute to a good scouting department under Scott Studwell.

But fair enough, he brought in the players. And good luck to him in Oakland

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

    I agree on that.
From what I've read Foley was clueless on draft day 2006.

In time I'm sure what really happened in the War Room and who really was responsible for last years talent will come out.

I for one believe they drafted well regardless of his input.

End result, he isn't there anymore for a reason.

I have to go with the "Clueless" assumption along with a side order of the "I want all the power" for desert.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    Links please.
That's not what I remember at all.
He got grudging respect for running the draft but none at all for being a jerk.
