Re:Five teams nobody wants to face in the playoffs

Not yet, my dolphins took a tough OT loss on the road yesterday. I would love to see how the vikes would do without their starting qb and rb. I'd say the dolphins have hung in there quite remarkably.

We can't beat the Iggles, Saints, Cards, and possibly the Whackers.

Basically any team with a decent passing game. No way can our secondary cover D. Jackson, Fitz, or anyone from N.O.

Oh and now our offense is in the tank. AWESOME!!!!

I'm a firm believer in the fact that we don't actually cover players. We just hope they run into an area where they could be seen as covered. Funny enought it doesn't end up working

It would explain why we didn't seem to have anybody covering Steve Smith for the majority of the game

Balance of Power: Eagles' Ground Game Fueling Wins

Pretty good article (for a Philly fan).

Something our coaches should consider...and implement immediately:

Ever since the San Diego loss, when they threw 56 passes on 69 plays, they have taken a different approach. Look at the run-pass splits for the last five games.

Against Chicago – 30 runs, 33 passes.
Against Washington – 29 runs, 36 passes.
Against Atlanta – 26 runs, 27 passes.
Against Giants – 24 runs, 28 passes.
Against 49ers – 33 runs, 36 passes.
Total – 109 runs, 126 passes.

Over a five-week period, the Eagles have a pass/ run ratio of 53-47. That’s remarkable for a team that routinely has been in the 60-40 and above area. Is Andy Reid changing his ways? Has allowing offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg to call more plays made the difference?

The Vikings are where they want to be historically, underrated.
