Chilly is on the hot seat too, but not as much as some of these guys.

    2. Romeo Crennel. The Browns went from 6-10 in his first season to 4-12 last year. Ooops. Wrong direction. Remember when we wondered how Bill Belichick would survive without his former defensive coordinator? Maybe we should have reversed the question.
This is where Childress will be if he has another losing season.
If we finish sub .500 again, Wilf may give him one more year to get his act together, but he sure as hell won't give him any more!

Yes, people who have to write credible articles every week, to maintain job security, realize that NO NFL team can fire a HC after one season and expect to be competitive in the near future.

Those teams realize that QUALITY coaches who might be candidates to replace the fired coach would never interview with an organization that provides no job security beyond 1 year.
They also realize that, due to the characteristics of player contracts, the CBA, the draft, free agency, etc., you can't rebuild an NFL team to fit into new offensive and defensive systems in 1-2 years.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

25 years later, the Vikings are still a joke because of it.
Bringing up Steckel merely proves the point.

I can agree with 1,3, and 5. With Romeo and Joe Gibbs, that is iffy. Romeo has been dealt a crappy hand. It is Cleveland, folks. The owners and injuries to players have screwed this team up for at least the next 3-4 years.

    With Joe Gibbs, he should
at least be given 2 more years to get this team together.
