    This stadium will have the most ridiculous parking prices ever.

    100,000 seats, and 30,000 parking spots, including all the public and private parking already in the area.

    Whoever owns any parking at all around there just got a license to print money.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

    That thing is boss! In 2009 the Cowboys might be a TO release away from me making them my second team!

    The end zone plazas really cut down on parking. Dallas definetly is not like New York either, you have to drive everywhere.

    I am almost positive that the Cowboys (read:
    Jerry Jones) own any and all land on which the stadium and parking lots will be built.
    There's no way he's building something and not being able to keep all the money.
    I'm sure it grates on that egomaniac every day of his life that the Redskins have more money and higher attendance.

    Here's the first look at the Dallas Cowboys proposed new stadium which would be buld at a pricetage of $1 BILLION with 60 yard scoreboards suspended from the ceiling!

    Cowboys got $350 million from Arlington County back in 2004 with the promise that the any overruns would be paid by the Cowboys.
    The price has jumped from ~$625 million to the $1 billion it is now in just TWO YEARS.

    Food for thought.

    Re: First Look At Cowboys $1 BILLION Stadium

    Things I like:

    * Outside screens.
    * Field Suites
    * 15,000 Club seats and 200 suites
    * 286 concession stands, 8 clubs and 23 bars
    * 1600 toilets.
    That is 10 times the number of toilets the dome has.

    Things I don't like

    * The score board.
    Cool, but too low (or too big).
    A typical punt may only average 80' high right now, but I think one could easily hit the scoreboard if they are trying to do a high, short kick to pin the opposing team.
    Plus, will punts get higher as athletes get better?
    * 30,000 parking spaces... for 80,000 to 100,000 seats.
    This might be OK, I am not sure.
    I guess averaging three people per car isn't too bad... but I still think it will be a little tight.
    * The quickly inflating price tag...

    All in all it is a pretty damn nice stadium.
    But I will hold my judgment until it is actually built.

    That huge scoreboard would scare the crap out of me if I was on the field.
    I don't want 600 tons coming down on top of me.

    It's at 100 feet and the average punt is 80 feet somebody will hit it.
