    Lions Sign Marcus Robinson

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -The Detroit Lions signed wide receivers Marcus Robinson and Cliff Russell and re-signed cornerback Keith Smith on Wednesday.

Robinson was cut by the Minnesota Vikings with one game left last season despite leading the team with four touchdown receptions in 10 games. He started 19 of his 41 games over three seasons in Minnesota, catching 107 passes for 1,553 yards and 17 touchdowns. Robinson has 43 career touchdowns in nine seasons with the Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens and Vikings.

Russell was released by the Miami Dolphins during last season after catching two passes in three games.

Smith, who was a restricted free agent, was selected by Detroit in the third round of the 2004 draft. He has started four of 46 games, making 60 tackles over three seasons and one interception.

Just when you think your NFL career can't get any worse, your agent says, "the Lions have proposed to you a contract offer".

Well I think the only remaining question for the Lions is this:

Will they be wearing the Road Whites or Honolulu Blue in Super Bowl XLII?
