Re: Favre should appologize to Walker, says Irving

As much as I hate Brett Favre I dont think he should apoligize, even though Walkers contract should be none of Favre's buisness. Walker wasn't forced to go to training camp. He chose to. Also, like cajun said Walker signed a contract so he should honor it he didn't deserve a new contract.
    Thanks MF

    Nuts.

Irvin is a media whore. He makes Stephen A Smith look like he's well-read and intelligent.

As a Packer fan, I'm pretty damned glad that we didn't renegotiate a contract with a kid who sucked for two years, had one breakout year, already cashed his $4 million signing bonus, and was still making over $500,000 a year with two years left to go on the deal he signed for.

Why didn't Walker offer to take a pay cut when he sucked his first year and a half?

Now that he's out for the year, I'm even more glad we didn't renegotiate his contract. I like the kid a lot, but just because Gates and others get their pouty ways, doesn't mean everyone should.

As for Favre...whatever. Irvin won't take long before he turns on a Viking or two for some media whore reason, and you guys will all be on here saying what an idiot he is.

Never thought I'd find someone who would make Sterling Sharpe look like Walter Cronkite in comparison.

I, for one, can't stand Michael Irvin in the first place. He reminds me of the Baptist preachers on public access tv. He wears obnoxous suits that are complete eyesores, talks in a gruff Al-Sharpton-like voice and panders to the lowest common denominator.

I don't mind decenting opinions or objectionable viewpoints but all of his "takes" are getting predictable. He'll always stick up for the spoiled, prima donna athletes such as TO and Dieon Sanders. He'll always try to justify a players' overly-elaborate and obviously-choreographed touchdown celebrations. Or else he'll defend a players recent DUI/hit and run/domestic abuse scandals as exagerated media portrayals.

Did anyone catch his TO interview? TO might as well have been interviewed by his mom!

Wow  Los is getting a little testy.

Maybe this will be the year he finally comes out of the closet and admits that he is really a Darren Sharper kind of guy. I bet you would look good in purple too Los.

I don't think Irvin and I agree on one Dam thing. This is the same dude that makes a point to make fun of Moss' off field problems when he had plenty of his own. When I think of Irvin I think of that commercial...what was it? Oh yeah,

You know, I hated that guy when he was a player. Now, I've lived through Sterling Sharpe, Rush Limbaugh, and Dennis Miller, and there has not been ONE ESPN/ABC guy who has made me turn the channel as soon as I heard his voice.

    Until now.

Whew...did I get a little ranty there? Heh heh.

Michael Irvin is why God made mute buttons on remotes.

    He must still be high.....

I thought Madden was the reason God made the mute buttons?

Please, don't ever mention that name again. I think he could be the reason that the television was refered to as the idiot box. Every times he opens his mouth that's what he comes off as. Unless that's the affect he's going for, in which case, he's doing a great job of it.
