I think Brett should. After all did not Brett himself re-negotiate his own contract a year or two after he signed it? What a hypocrit.

what, Bret favre appologize. I think not. We are talking about a guy that parts seas and turns water to wine when he is not playing football.
Screw Irvin...JWalk signed a contract and he should honor it...he has one good season and wants to renegotiate. Irvin thinks that JWalk should be paid to sit on his butt all year while he's hurt and not contribute to the team. JWalk (and every other player) knows the risks that they take when they play the game...it comes with the territory...and if he was concerned about injury, there is always insurance.
If I was Favre this is what I would do.........
Favre: Hey Javon.....you like apples?
Javon:............what?
Favre: DO YOU like apples?
Javon: Sure I guess......
Favre: Your out the whole season bitch........HOW YOU LIKE THEM APPLES!
Does anybody here really care what happens in Green Bay
I think this is just a case of not having any game to talk about. The media are reduced to creating some drama. I mean how many ways can you say that the Packers suck and are going to suck all season long and still be interesting.
wipe your nose Irvin
I thought Walker should have gotten an extension with a lil extra cash to go along with it.. Favre should apologize.. He thinks he can do whatever and he gets paid like 10 mill a year so he doesn't complain
what should Brett apologize for?
Irvin is saying Walker went back into camp BECAUSE of Favre. That's not true. Irvin also seems to think that the Packers would have renegotiated Walkers contract, which is also not true.

Brett Farve should appologize to Walker for scolding him because he wanted to renegotiate his contract. (I believe all players should honor their contracts so don't get the wrong impression here). I'm saying, "How can Brett scold Walker for wanting to renegotiate his contract, when he himself has renegotiated his own contracts before they were up?" I believe his last one that he did in 2004 was to help the team in salary cap issues, but that was not the case in past years. I mean it's so hypocritical.Quote:

Favre said it was important to get the richest deal in NFL history - no matter how long he'll end up holding that honor.
"If the highest-paid player in the league was getting $50,000, I'd want $51,000,' Favre said. ``But there's going to be guys that pass me up. That's just the way it goes.'
James ``Bus' Cook, Favre's Hattiesburg, Miss.-based attorney, and Mike Reinfeldt, the Packers' chief financial officer, worked out the final details of Favre's extension this morning.
Favre's new deal replaced the last two years of the five-year, $19 million contract he signed in 1994."
