Still have some talent, but a lot of young'uns too. The current talent is definitely lacking and Holmgren was a better coach.

I hope Favre throws 40+ ints this year.

Both Al Harris and Donald Driver both threatened to hold out of camp, and wanted more money or to be traded. They both reported but how happy are they and are they being a distraction in training camp?

I know that Harris has said if he doesn't get a new contract by the end of the season he is done in GB. Everybody wants out of the dump!
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Re: Favre sees 'most talented' Packers team of his tenure

This is actually pretty funny, but if you think about he does have a point. The mid 90's Pukers weren't the most talented players in football, but they were very experienced, and they didn't make mistakes.

Kind of like Brad Johnson. He isn't the most talented quarterback out there, but he is extremely consistent and doesn't make mistakes.

This year even if the Pukers are brimming with talent (with is a matter of opinion), the experience level of the team as a whole leaves them open to mistakes, which can and will cost them games.

OK, so you will end up with two wins instead of just one...

 , now you got it.

    On another note, Favre said:

There lies the major caveat to Favre's suddenly simmering optimism. He says this is also the most inexperienced team he has played on
They have the talent without the experience. Any team could say that, this is the NFL. It is good to see a vet. trying to instill confidence in a young team even when he knows he will be feeling the pain from this season the rest of his life.

    You are being VERY GENEROUS...

This pronouncement is just more proof that Favre got his bell rung one too many times last season...can't wait to hear how stupid he is after this season (when he breaks David Carr's record for sacks in a season) :evil4:

    Here is my speculation:

The main reason Favre considered retirement so seriously was because he is terrified to death of achieving that INT record. Therefore, this year he is going to focus so much on not throwing INTs that he'll be holding onto the ball too long. This will allow every team that faces him to crush his aging body into the ground leading to broken ribs, ankles, wrists, face, and teeth. But Favre has too much pride to sit out a game with a few broken bones, so by week 7 he'll go in there trying to fight his way to that 2nd victory but instead will end up getting crowned with that beutiful INT record!
