forget Favre- is anyone not worried about John Madden (I guess he'll be alright since he still has Brady's cheesesticks to chew on).
Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.

Because of the departure of one aging QB?
I think you are in for a rude awakening next season...thats not to say we don't beat the Packers but this doesn't change things as dramatically as many people on here tend to think.
Are you kidding me? i think the revival of Favre was a big reason the Pack had a good year.
ofcourse it was a team-effort but the Packers arn't the same without Favre
Since it's been 18 years or whatever since we've seen the Packers w/out Favre, it's hard to say if they'll be the same, worse or better w/out him.

    =Z=
Well you can't expect the Pack to be better without Favre do you?

They did just fine when he got hurt last year with Rogers stepping up
It usually takes a little more than one game to convince me who is a quality QB and who is not.
Its no secret that its easier coming in of the bench, becuse the opposing defense had used all week to gameplan after the starter..

Tell that to Bollinger and Holcomb.

Don't forget Tony Romo and Ed Hochuli.

Madden has been planning for this day for several years now.
As demonstrated above, he has his backups in line already.

It's actually scary that Madden has had backup Brett Favre's in the wings. He had Philip Rivers lined up two years ago but then he started acting like Ryan Leaf and trash talking fans and the "boyish fun" went out the game for Rivers.. Now he's comparing Romo to Favre every time he can. Not to mention Tony Romo rolls off of the tongue and is really easy to say every 5 seconds during a broadcast.

    Re: Favre Retires

I thought he would have stayed another season after the form he showed last year. If this is the end for Favre it'll be funny watching us play the pack without him on the field.
